Janette joined KPMG in 1985 and qualified in Audit. She transferred to tax in 1991 and became a partner in 1997. Janette leads the relationships with a range of businesses including Verizon Wireless, Crest Nicholson and a privately owned global property group. Previous client experience includes BSkyB, Sony and Cable and Wireless.

Janette has extensive experience of advising international corporations on the management of tax risk, implementation of tax operating models and management of HMRC relationships. She provides advice on group reorganisations and corporate transactions and for a number of years was part of our M&A Tax Practice in the UK. In her role at KPMG she is often involved in making representations to HMRC on proposed changes to tax legislation. She also works with trade associations and actively lobbies HMT, HMRC and the political parties on tax matters.
